This is one the few bands that can give me chills when listening to them. In particular the song Justice Through Insurrection. Musically they sound like Disembodied/Culture. They even do a cover of Deforestation by Culture.
Dead Blue Sky plays black metal influenced metalcore and features members of Morning Again/Culture. I think I say this about everything I post, but this is has to be one best thing Ive ever heard metalcore wise. Nothing these days comes close.
North Carolina's best. Members were involved in several bands. Prayer for Cleansing, Between the Buried and Me and From Here On. Those are the ones I can remember. Anyway I love this band. I will post the other album I don't have up later.
Following in my tradition of putting up vegan metal, here is the Caliban/HSB Split. In my opinion this the best output from both bands. HSB plays great blackened metalcore style stuff. Caliban is more in the melodic death metal vein.
Oubliette was a short lived band from Charlottesville, Va. As far as I know these six song are the only thing they released. They remind me of Undying but with a more evil feel. Get into it.
I'm not into much new hardcore. However the majority of the new bands that I do like come from japan. One band I've been jamming frequently is Crystal Lake. They play heavy hardcore in the vein of Morning Again and Arkangel. Check it out.
Pre-orders are up for Abandon Death of Urgency Lp limited color vinyl. I personally cant wait. I saw them this past fall, very passionate hardcore. Abandon pick up where Seven Generations and Gather left off. Get it here.
Contend is a new band from Reno. I saw them when I went to San Diego for the last Seven Generations show. They were amazing to say the least. Intense sludgy hardcore. Remain a threat.
